South-South Workshop in Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia —
A
National South-South Support Structure
Workshop, held Ethiopia on June 9,
2009, at Ghion Hotel in Addis Ababa.
The event was attended by Dr. Kesetebrehan,
Director General, Health Promotion
and Diseases Prevention General Directorate
(HPDPGD), Dr. Tizita Director, HPDPGD
and Mr. Harry Jooseery, Executive
Director of PPD and Mr. Tedros Tolessa
Ethiopian Partners Country Coordinator
(PCC) for PPD.
The
day long workshop had exiting presentation
on National Reproductive and Family
program overview. And had a special
session on the core issues of the
work shop: Strengthening the National
support in Ethiopia for the promotion
of South-South Cooperation for sustainable
development. At the end of the workshop,
the concerned authority firmly committed
to constitute the National Task Force
.This workshop was jointly organized
by PPD and HPDPGD, Ethiopia.
