Family Care (CTC) organized an International
Seminar on South–South Cooperation
strategies for Population and Development
at Taicang, Shanghai, China.
Government
high official form different Afro-Asian
country and Representatives from IPPF,
ICOMP, and UNFPA were on the participant
list of this occasion. In this two
day long program participants were
discussed about the different aspect
of Population and Development.
PPD
jointly sponsored this event with
a remarkable participation. At the
opening session of this seminar, Executive
Director Harry S. Jooseery of PPD
dispensed a sermon on South -South
Cooperation Strategic Directions and
Role of PPD in the Context of Emerging
Changes. Adjacent to this, Vice- Minister,
National Family planning commission
China and member of PPD IPAC, H.E.
Dr. Zhao Baige adorned the seminar
with her key note speech on “From
Cairo to China”. Director of
PPD Africa office, Dr. Jotham Musiguzi
was a speaker on the session: Impact
of Global Financial Crisis and Hu
. Hongtao, Deputy Director –
General, Department of International
Cooperation, NPFC, China and Partner
Country coordinator of PPD was also
ornamented the seminar as a speaker
of a session.
