Airport Transfer to the Hotel
The name of the Dhaka International Airport is Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Distance from Airport to Pan Pacific Shonargaon Hotel is 14 km. It will take approximately 40 minutes to reach the hotel depending on the traffic. The complementary airport pick-up and drop-off on arrival and departure will be provided by PPD, subject to receipt of the confirmed travel itineraries well in advance.
Registration and Badges
On-site registration will begin at 8:00 AM on 3 August 2025. Participants are required to present a valid ID at the registration desk to collect their conference badge, which must be worn at all times in the venue for security and access purposes.
Insurance
Participants are advised to obtain their own insurance coverage for sickness, accident (including the cost of medical attention), temporary or permanent disability, death, injury and third-party risks, covering the entire duration of the meeting including travel time. PPD would not be responsible for any such costs nor would it have any liability whatsoever.
Visa
All the participants are requested to obtain their Bangladesh Visa before travelling to the country. Participants are required to be in possession of a passport, which is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Bangladesh and have proof of return after the events (round-trip air-ticket). Nationals of the countries having no Bangladesh consulate will be issued Visa-on-Arrival, subject to the receipt of the passport copies well ahead of the events.

Currency Exchange Facilities
Foreign Currency Exchange facility is available in the reception desk of the hotel. You may also exchange your foreign currency at the airport and with Currency exchange booths available in the shopping malls in Dhaka. The currency used in Dhaka is the Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). The exchange rate between USD to BDT is approximately 1 USD =121 BDT, which is subject to change over time.
Communication Services
Free WiFi services are available throughout the hotel. Please communicate at the front desk of the hotel to collect the WiFi credentials.
Paid local calls are available in guest rooms. For long-distance calls, please contact the front desk, for which additional charges will apply.
All mobile phone services providers ensure full coverage of the host city. They also provide access to the Internet by 3G/4G. You can buy Mobile SIM Cards from the Airport. Available Mobile Operators are GRAMEENPHONE, ROBI or BANGLALINK.
Power Voltage
Power in Bangladesh is 220 volts with a frequency of 50 Hz per second. For delegates from countries with a different voltage, a transformer is required unless the appliance has a multi-voltage option. In Bangladesh the power sockets are of type C, D, G and K.

Expect typical early‑August conditions: high humidity with intermittent rain showers and thunderstorms, and temperatures ranging from the mid‑20s to low‑30s °C. Please plan indoor/outdoor movements accordingly.
