Announcement for Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM) at New Delhi, India 2018 -2019


We are pleased to inform you that PPD with the support of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India (GoI) is offering ten 10 scholarships of a “One Year Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM)” for the professionals working in the field of Public Health in PPD member countries.

The course will be conducted at National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi, India commencing on 1st August 2018.  The aim of the course is to enhance the managerial capabilities of the young professionals in the field of public health.

Government of India will meet the expenses related to tuition, training materials, boarding and lodging and will provide a stipend of 5000/ Indian Rupees (Rupees Five thousand only) per month. The Travel (to and fro), medical insurance and Visa expense will be met by the sponsoring institution or the candidate

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must

  1. Be working in the central, state and local governments with at least three years of service experience in the health sector.
  2. Be holding MBBS/BDS/AYUSH graduate or should have passed B.Sc. in nursing/health, science/natural science or Bachelors of occupation therapy/ physiotherapy or MA is social science or an equivalent qualification.
  3. Have good communication and understanding skills in English language since English is the medium of the instruction of the course.
