Partners in Population and Development (PPD) invites applications from qualified candidates of PPD Member States for the position of Head of Programmes at its Secretariat in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Head of Programmes is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and implementation of PPD’s programme portfolio. The role supports the advancement of South–South and Triangular Cooperation in the fields of reproductive health, population, and sustainable development across PPD’s 28 Member Countries.

Working under the guidance of the Executive Director, the Head of Programmes will lead the Programme Unit, contribute to the development and implementation of PPD’s Strategic Plan, strengthen partnerships with Member States and development partners, and mobilize resources to support high-impact programmes aligned with the ICPD Programme of Action and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Position: Head of Programmes
Grade: NP-4, Step-5 (US$40,703.35 per annum – negotiable)
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Contract Duration: Three years (renewable)
