PPD South-South Annual Population Award Nominations 2015

PPD announces the call for the 2015 PPD South-South Population Award Nominations.

An integral part of PPD’s mission is to promote South-South Cooperation (SSC) in the field of reproductive health, population and development. PPD believes that introducing this award is recognition of the excellent work that our member countries have performed through SSC to promote reproductive health and population in PPD member countries.

This award recognizes project initiatives, strategies and productions that have advanced the ICPD PoA agenda as well as the PPD countries’ national agenda towards universal access to SRHR, population stabilization and sustainable development. The PPD Population Award acknowledges outstanding PPD member country contributions to promote SSC in policy dialogue, capacity building, and transfer of technology, information, expertise and resources as well as replication of best solutions. The winner of PPD South-South Annual Population Award will be honored with a citation and a certificate from the PPD Board Chair at the Annual Population and Development Conference to be held on 21 November 2015 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
