On 28 – 30 May 2013, more than 5,000 participants from around the world, including government leaders, policymakers, healthcare professionals, NGO representatives, corporate leaders, and global media outlets will participate in the largest global event of the decade to focus on the health and empowerment of girls and women in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
On May 28, 201, Partners in Population and Development Africa Regional Office (PPD ARO) is organizing a side meeting to follow up the London Family Planning Summit Commitments. The panel will discuss how policy and funding advocacy, accountability for FP/RH commitments can be used to ensure that commitments are realised at country level by 2020. The meeting will be attended by policy makers including parliamentarians, representatives from ministries of Health and Finance, FP/RH Champions, media and key stakeholders.
