Partners in Population and Development (PPD) is an intergovernmental initiative created specifically for the purpose of expanding and improving South-to-South collaboration in the fields of reproductive health, population, and development. PPD’s Africa Regional Office (PPD ARO) is based in Kampala Uganda, at Statistics House 3rd Floor, Plot 9 Colville Street.
PPD ARO intends to dispose of its used assets (IT equipment, office chairs, and a vehicle) and invites interested bidders. These items will be sold through sealed bids in envelopes.
Please pick a bid document as you come to view the items, between Monday 1st and Thursday 4th August 2022 from 10:00 am to 3.00 pm. Open viewing of the items will be at Plot 9 Colville Street, Statistics House, Floor 3 Room 3.5, and the vehicle marked “for sale” in the parking on the ground floor opposite the containers from the main entrance.
The items shall be sold on an “as is, where is” basis, and PPD ARO will have no further liability after the goods are sold.
Bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Disposal of used items”, and addressed to; The Finance Officer, PPD ARO, Statistics House, Floor 3 Room 3.2, should be delivered by 5th August 2022 before 1:30 pm.
ONLY successful bidders will be contacted by Wednesday 10th August 2022 and these should present proof of down payment on the PPD ARO bank account a day after the offer. PPD ARO reserves the right of offer and is not obliged to sell to the highest or any bidder.
