13 and 15 December 2021 :: Capacity Building Workshop – Mainstreaming Youth Engagement in promoting SSC to response COVID-19 crisis for Achieving ICPD agenda

Partners in Population and Development (PPD), and UNFPA are jointly organizing capacity building workshop for youth to support and accelerate proactive youth engagement to advocate for and implement innovative programs for the full achievement of the ICPD unfinished business during the post-COVID-19 period.

The issues to be discussed on:

  1. How a youth centered approach to be adopted for responding pandemic crisis through SSC
  2. How effective youth participation to be ensured in SSC advocacy to response COVID-19 crisis
  3. What would be the effective communications strategy to utilize social media and other means of youth participation to respond COVID-19 pandemic crisis
  4. How to create a SSC platform for young people to advocate for the ICPD and share the main achievements and the challenges remaining;
  5. What would be the role of innovation, technology, creativity, data, youth voices and collective action in amplifying results and scaling up progress through South-South cooperation to deliver on the promises of ICPD25 and the SDGs.

 

Two workshops will be conducted on the following themes:
