The newly launched International Journal for Population, Development and Reproductive Health (IJPDRH) of Partners in Population and Development invites submissions for possible publication. The first issue will be launched in 28 November 2017 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia during PPD’s 14th International Inter-Ministerial Conference on “Sustainable cities, human mobility and international migration: A South-South Perspective and intervention needs”.

About the journal

IJPDRH is a peer-reviewed international online journal publishing findings from high quality research and learning from policy and programmes of the global south. The areas of focus are population, development and health issues including reproductive health and rights, HIV/AIDS, poverty alleviation and women empowerment, and other topics relevant to ICPD goals and SDGs. The journal will have the following sections:

•    Social Determinants of Health
•    HIV and AIDS
•    Family Planning
•    Gender equality and women empowerment
•    Sexual and Reproductive Health
•    Population and development
•    Ageing
•    Health Systems
•    Migration

The journal is a platform for publishing multidisciplinary work carried out in the global south using variety of methodologies of social science disciplines, such as demography, economics, sociology, anthropology, development studies, and international relations with focus on health diplomacy. Each issue will contain original research articles, reports, case studies, and policy dialogue. In addition, the journal will also publish supplements either on its own initiative or on request from others.  Detail instructions for the authors can be found in the journal website (www.IJPDRH.org).
