Objectives
To discuss and share knowledge on leveraging SSTC as an accelerator by examining the framework, and sharing successes and challenges on these related issues:
- How to bring SSTC to the next level of dynamism and effectiveness as envisioned in the ICPD PoA
- How to leverage SSTC in sharing knowledge of new technologies and innovations
- How to engage donor countries and institutions for greater triangular cooperation
- How to support non-state actors, particularly NGOs, youth, women, the private sector, , in pursuing SSTC
- How best to show the results and impact of SSTC initiatives
Target Audience
All PPD member states’ delegates and Permanent Representatives to the UN, policymakers, programming officials, international cooperation officials, UN staff, ICPD advocates, and South- South and Triangular Cooperation practitioners.
